I'm a tenant. What's the process for me?

To learn everything you need to know about renting a space on Fillit, go to How it works: Renting a Space, but here's a quick step by step overview to take you from browsing to booking!

Step 1

Browse and click on the spaces you're interested in. Searching on Fillit is easy and fun! You can search by: 

  • Location (cities, counties, areas, etc). 

  • Category (restaurants, events, office, etc). 

You can also refine the search by using filters (i.e. budget, space size, amenities, etc.). And you can clear the filters and try as many combinations as you want as many times as you need!

Step 2 

Submit a pitch to let the landlord know that you're interested in booking their space. Include as much info as possible (what your plans are, what you'd need from the space, pictures, a link to your website etc). 

You only have to write your pitch once! Fillit saves your pitch and you can import it for future use.

You can secure your booking with credit card details, but your card won't be charged unless the landlord Confirms

Step 3

Wait for the landlord's reply. When the landlord confirms, you'll get an email to let you know. 

Landlords are advised to reply to all tenant enquiries within 24-48 hours. 

If you need a response urgently, let us know! We can help to speed up in your enquiry. 

Step 4

If the event goes ahead, payment will be processed automatically after the cancellation period expires, and it will be held in escrow until the first day of the event after which the Fillit service fee will be deducted and the rental fee will be transferred to the Landlord's bank account within 3-4 days.

If things don't work out, you or the Landlord can cancel completely free of charge up to their chosen cancellation period. Make sure you read the space's cancellation policy.
