Fillit offers tenants two options to add their preferred payment information to book spaces on the platform:

Credit Card Details:

  • Tenants can add their credit card details when submitting a pitch. This allows for a seamless one-step booking, speeding up the process considerably. The tenant's card will not be charged until after the cancellation period has passed, which is typically between 48 hours to one week for most spaces.

Credit Transfer:

  • If you can't pay by credit card, you can create a Credit Transfer account. This allows you to credit your account for future events. Payments are taken from your Credit Balance when the cancellation period for your booking ends.

  • How does it work? After confirming a booking, an email with the invoice will be sent. You can also view all invoices under Account > Transaction History. Payment must be made by credit transfer at least 5 days before the event. Once the payment is done, you will be required to send us a proof of payment. A Fillit team member will review it and mark the transaction as finalised.

  • If you missed the deadline, you can change your payment method by adding a credit card at any stage up to the end of the cancellation period (usually 48 hours before the event).

Escrow and Transfer:

The payment is held in escrow until the first day of the event. After the event starts, the 15% Fillit service fee is deducted. The remaining rental fee is transferred to the landlord's bank account within 3-4 days.

Canceling a credit transfer booking

Refunds can be issued before the cancellation date, and a reverse credit transfer will be made back to the bank account it was paid from.
